Day One

I.  Morning Ritual of Greeting the Day
Bodily positions described on page 1.

II. Ritual of Silence
Read the brief meditation reading for the day and then sit in silence. 

Just resting in the very nature of your being.  Not going anywhere.  Not doing anything.  Not attaining anything.  You are already everything you may hope to attain, so no effort of the will is necessary.  You are already it.  It is already here.  Here is already everywhere, and now is already always.  There is no purpose other than to be awake to what is actually so.

III. Ritual of Prayer
Read the psalm, write the number of the psalm (e.g., Psalm 1), the date, then write your psalm, your prayer, your translation in the space below.
